Highlights from Past Tours

In 2025, Acterra proudly hosted three free Green@Home Tours across the Bay Area, welcoming more than 750 attendees to explore real-life examples of all-electric living.

Participants learned directly from local homeowners about selecting electric appliances, working with contractors, navigating installations, and making the most of available incentives and tax credits—helping make the transition to cleaner, healthier homes both informed and affordable.

These tours were driven by community curiosity, homeowner generosity, and a shared commitment to a healthier planet.

"I had a good conversation with one homeowner with similar design challenges..."

"I liked that the tour had a wide variety of houses, from big to modest, with mostly well informed owners and often lots of useful fact sheets posted for reading and photographing."

"We found learning from owners with some experience under their belts about installation requirements, manufacturer and model preferences and contractor preferences most valuable."

"I learned about solar generation and battery storage trends, impact on the utility, best ways to reduce greenhouse gasses, and new electric technologies for the home."

"The rebate information was very inspiring. It's possible to do this!"

"It was amazing seeing real live examples, and how others started their journey. I feel more prepared."
