Overview: Acterra's Strategic Plan for Fiscal Years 2027-2030 (FY27-FY30) builds on more than 56 years of environmental leadership while preparing the organization for a rapidly changing climate, funding, and policy landscape. Developed through interviews, a SWOT analysis, and collaborative planning with staff, board members, and community partners, the plan focuses on strengthening Acterra's organizational resilience, expanding community impact, and ensuring long-term sustainability.

The strategic plan is centered on four organizational priorities: Operational Excellence, Funding Diversification & Sustainability, Communications & Brand Clarity, and Program Impact & Equity. It also strengthens Acterra's commitment to advocacy and deepening partnerships with frontline communities throughout the Bay Area.

Mission: Acterra brings people together to create local solutions for a healthy planet. We accomplish our mission through three core pathways:

• Educate — We equip people with knowledge and tools to make sustainable choices
• Engage — We mobilize neighbors, organizations, and leaders to take collective action
• Advocate — We amplify community voices to shape climate-friendly policies

Vision: Acterra envisions a resilient and just world where all communities are informed, equipped, and mobilized to lead the transition to a sustainable future. We partner with communities to eucate, advocate, and engage.
