Intern With Us
Summertime is full of energy and new faces at Acterra as we welcome our summer cohort of interns and volunteers.
We are so grateful for the contributions of those who spend their summers with us and strive for them to have a mutually beneficial experience.
Each summer we welcome a group of students ranging from high school to graduate school. Many members of our staff are involved in working with these students on a range of projects generally aligned to their interests and area of study. Not only are we exposing students to our staff, but also providing opportunities for them to conduct outreach and research, and meet constituents in the communities we serve.
Each summer program acts as a cohort; we hold regular meetings with staff and host networking and learning programs as a way to connect them to one another. Examples include professional development, career panels, and networking opportunities to help interns and fellows explore their future sustainability careerpaths.
