Volunteer Opportunity: Blog Post Writer
Are you passionate about sustainability and eager to use your writing skills to make a difference? Acterra is looking for a volunteer Blog Post Writer to support our marketing team. In this role, you'll create engaging and informative content on crucial topics like beneficial electrification, sustainable food systems, environmental education, advocacy, air quality, and water conservation. Your work will help educate our audience and inspire action towards a healthier planet.
Time Commitment: 8 -12 hours per month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and write blog posts on various sustainability topics.- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with Acterra’s mission.
- Edit and refine content to ensure it is accurate, clear, and compelling.
- Stay informed about the latest trends in sustainability to keep content relevant.
Skills Needed:
- Proficiency in researching environmental and sustainability issues
- Ability to convey complex information in an engaging and accessible way
- Creativity and keen attention to detail
- Experience with blogging or content creation is a plus
