Testimonials

See what our YPG Members have to say.

I was interested in exploring career opportunities and options.

Environmentalism and sustainability is such a broad field. There are so many different roles, and types of organizations to work for.

I was feeling a bit overwhelmed. I thought the best thing to do was to network and meet people who are doing different things with their lives and careers. This way, I could get ideas about how to develop myself and my career and ultimately take that next step forward.

I joined the [YPG] committee because I care about climate change.

The way I can contribute is by helping to foster a community of like-minded young professionals.

We offer each other career opportunities, networking opportunities, and we learn from each other about the issues of the day, ultimately actually making a dent in the climate crisis.

I really enjoy how my ideas are received and implemented with the YPC.

I have a say in how events go, what kind of workshops we should be offering, and how to do recruitment and stuff like that.

I like that it helps me build my resume and helps me feel more confident in my skills as a leader.

I joined because I wanted to take on a leadership role.

and learn new skills that I could carry forward in my professional and personal life.

I really like social media and marketing because it allows me to connect with other young professionals, not only in the Bay Area, but beyond.
