PRESS RELEASE: Acterra: Action for a Healthy Planet has acquired Sustainable Silicon Valley (SSV)
PALO ALTO, Calif. – Acterra: Action for a Healthy Planet (Acterra) is pleased to announce its acquisition of Sustainable Silicon Valley (SSV), effective July 1, 2024. This strategic move marks a significant milestone in the continued growth and impact of both organizations in the climate action and environmental sustainability landscape.
The acquisition brings together two esteemed entities with aligned missions and shared values, poised to enhance their collective efforts in education, healthcare, water conservation, air quality, and sustainable transportation. The combination of Acterra and SSV will enable the organizations to mutually reinforce each other’s work, greatly amplifying their capacity to serve the Bay Area residents and drive positive change on a broader scale.
