Acterra staff member Zack Wurtz was recently at a San Diego Padres game and was excited to find an Electric Garbage Truck on display. Republic Services, a waste collector in San Diego County, was hosting a "EV touch-a-truck experience" where folks at the baseball game could climb inside the truck and explore its' features.  California is mandating that half of all heavy-duty truck sales be electric by 2035, but Republic Services aiming to reach that goal by 2028.
