Acterra’s youth Education Program offers free teacher training workshops. This year, we will be focusing on renewable energy education and the benefits of using a Zero Emissions Vehicle (ZEV). These workshops will help educators learn about climate change basics, and how to encourage younger generations to choose a ZEV as their first car, if possible. Participants will come away with the knowledge of

– greenhouse gases and their sources
– the carbon cycle
– humans impact on global climate change
– renewable energy sources and their pros and cons
– ZEV technology and why owning one as a first car can make a positive impact
