Induction Cooktop Loan Program
Palo alto Induction Cooktop Loaner Program
Acterra debuted the Peninsula’s first Induction Cooktop Loaner Program Pilot in 2019, which allowed people the opportunity to borrow a counter-top induction cooktop for up three weeks. Each kit includes an induction cooktop, a compatible pan, a carrying case, and instructions.
In 2021, Acterra began partnering with Fossil Free Mid-Peninsula (FFMP), an all-volunteer citizens' group promoting local efforts to address the global climate crisis, to facilitate our Induction Cooktop Loaner Program. FFMP advocates for swiftly and equitably transitioning to renewable energy, electrifying transportation and buildings, and divesting from the fossil fuel industry in order to reduce GHGs to net zero as quickly as possible. We couldn’t ask for a better partner group to support electrifying households. Please contact staff for more information.
