Welcome to the East Bay Green@Home Tour 2025

After the tremendous success of last year’s Electric Home Tour, Acterra is excited to bring the experience to the East Bay. This summer, the East Bay Green@Home Tour 2025 will showcase the future of sustainable living. On Saturday, June 7, from 12 PM to 4 PM, attendees will have the opportunity to explore electrified homes throughout Alameda and Contra Costa Counties, from new construction to homes in transition from gas.

Tour hosts will open their doors to share their experiences with energy-efficient solutions, offering valuable insights on appliance selection, contractor decisions, installation processes, and available tax credits and incentives. Guests will see firsthand a variety of electric home upgrades, including heat pumps for heating and cooling, heat pump water heaters, induction cooktops, solar panels, battery storage systems, electric vehicle chargers, rainwater catchments, and more.

The event provides a unique opportunity to engage directly with tour hosts, learn from their experiences, and gain practical knowledge to make the transition to an electric home more informed and cost-effective.

At Acterra, our mission is to empower tour hosts to make informed decisions about switching from gas to electric home appliances. Buildings burning fossil fuels contribute significantly to greenhouse gas emissions, and by upgrading your home to electric appliances, you can play a crucial role in combating climate change.
