Programs are delivered through an equity lens, with intentional focus on frontline, under-resourced, and multilingual communities across the Bay Area.

可持续发展哲学
Acterra 相信，在其内部运营中，可持续发展应该“言行一致”，具体做法包括可持续采购、节约资源、重视人力资本以及最大限度地减少不必要的浪费。
食品政策在为各种规模的公共活动提供食物时，Acterra 强调以当地完整食材烹制的植物性食品；使用可重复使用的盘子、杯子和餐具；并确保对废物进行负责任的堆肥处理。
运输实践Acterra 支持员工和项目参与者做出清洁的交通选择，例如拼车、步行、骑自行车、公共交通、远程办公（在家工作）以及改用电动汽车。
气候变化教育 — The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, UNESCO, and other international bodies prioritize climate change education, which helps people “understand and address the impacts of the climate crisis, empowering them with the knowledge, skills, values and attitudes needed to act as agents of change.” Acterra works to provide a strong educational foundation that can lead to insights, behavior change, and ultimately, more climate-friendly choices. Students emerge from Acterra’s You(th) Be the Change Program and Acterra’s Student Ambassador Program better equipped to evaluate climate change as a facet of their daily lives and perceive ways they can create positive social change.

We earned our Green Business certification by reducing our water usage, conserving energy, purchasing recycled products, eliminating the use of toxic cleaning chemicals, improving worker safety, and reducing the amount of waste that goes to the landfill.
